Amy Winehouse Tony BennettAmy Winehouse’s last single, a duet with Tony Bennett, was released on September 14, the day the artist would have turned 28 years old.

The duet, entitled “Body and Soul” was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London on March 23, and Tony Bennett has praised the British singer for her interpretative qualities that allowed her to sing easily jazz songs.

In the video, Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett appear in the recording studio and the British singer seems healthy and smiling.

At least a portion of proceeds to be obtained from the sale of the song “Body and Soul” sung by Amy Winehouse and Tony Bennett will be donated to a foundation created by Mitch Winehouse – father of the late artist – in her memory, has announced in August, Liz Rosenberg, spokeswoman of Bennett.

The song will be included in Bennett’s album – an 85-year-old Grammy-winning musician considered a jazz legend, with hit songs like “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” and “Rags to Riches”. The album is titled “Duets II” and will be released on September 20.

Amy Winehouse has died at the age of 27, after several years of a hard battle with drugs and alcohol.

The album “Back to Black” of Amy Winehouse, released in 2006, became, one month after the death of singer, the best-selling disc of the twenty-first century in Britain, announced on Wednesday representatives of British official agency that monitors music sales.
