Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mildred “Patty” Baena spoke several times on the phone trying to make arrangements for the actor to see his son, Joseph.

After the existence of his illegitimate son was revealed, the former governor can finally see Joseph, born of the actor’s affair with former governess of his children.

Sources close to the actor told TMZ.com that Arnie spoke on the phone with Joseph’s mother after the scandal started. But, contrary to recent rumors, Schwarzenegger and Baena have not yet seen each other in person. Sources said that “the two families wish to meet, but that has not happened yet”.

The former wife of the actor, Maria Shriver, called for divorce last week, explaining to the judge that the reason of the separation is the irreconcilable differences between the two. They announced in May that they will end their 25 years marriage. The actor confessed to his wife that he has a ten year old illegitimate child.
